The room your child would join
You walk into the classroom your child would join and see it mid-morning, in the middle of the day. Look at what sits on the low shelves, the art on the walls, the size of the tables and chairs. Step outside to the play space and watch how the children use it.
The teachers
You meet the teacher who runs the room, the person your child would see every morning. Ask how the day is paced, from arrival through lunch and rest. Ask what the first weeks look like and how they help a child settle in.
Your questions
Hours, meals, pickup, tuition: ask about all of them. If something matters to your family, bring it up on the tour. If we do not have an answer on the spot, we follow up with you.
Before you come
Bring your child along. A tour works best when they can see the room, touch the toys, and meet the teacher who would greet them each morning. We care for children from 6 weeks to 13 years, and the room they visit depends on their age. Ask which classroom fits your child before you come.
The questions worth asking are the practical ones. How do drop-off and pickup work, and what hours fit your schedule? What is served at meals, and when do children rest? Ask how the first weeks are handled, how you hear about your child's day, and what happens if they get sick. Write your questions down and bring the list.
